Student-athletes who become injured may apply for aid. Grants are determined by the Board of Directors of Missouri K.I.D.S., Inc., by the following method:

Each injured student and his or her family is visited by a board member who analyzes the specific needs. The family then applies for aid by completing a Missouri K.I.D.S. Application for Assistance along with a diagnostic statement from the attending physician.

The Missouri K.I.D.S. Board of Directors review the application and supporting documentation and receives a report from the board member who visited with the family. Determination of grants is then made by a vote of the Board of Directors.
